Quilt In Joy Presents Starry, Starry Nights Block of the Month Come join the fun with our new four-month promotion, Starry, Starry Nights. We will be meeting the second Saturday of the month beginning June 7, 2008. Each month we will be creating a different star block that can be made into a lovely table runner or topper. You choose from two color ways and pay $5.00 for the first kit. If you complete the block and bring it back the following month, your next kit is FREE! Finishing kits will be available for purchase as well as special in-store promotions on block of the month Saturday. Sign up today to be part of the fun. Registration is limited so don't delay. What are the dates for Starry, Starry Nights? We will be meeting the second Saturday of the month – June 7, July 12, August 9, and September 13, 2008. What happens at a block of the month? You will get a kit with enough fabric to make the featured block along with a handout. A Quilt In Joy staff member will give a demonstration and share tips on how to construct the block. How much time will it take? It takes about 15-20 minutes for the block demonstration. What if I don't have my block finished by the next month? You won't be able to get the next kit free but you can still participate by purchasing the kit for $5.00. If I can't come can a friend bring my finished block to receive my free kit? Sorry, we can't allow that. You must bring your finished block in on the Starry, Starry Nights Saturday What if I miss a month? You can still be part of the program but you will have to purchase the kit. Kits will be available in the shop the following week. Sorry but we can't make an exception. Can I make the project in both color ways? Yes, but you will have to buy the second color way kit. There is only one free kit per person. What times are available? There will be five sessions: 9:00 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:00 a.m. 10:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Must I attend at the same time every month? Yes, we have limited space so it is important to come at your allotted time. How many people can attend? Seventy-five people will be able to participate in this program – 15 per session. Sign up for times is on a first come basis. How do I register? Come to Quilt In Joy to sign up for your time slot and pay your $5.00 registration fee. You must pay at the time of registration to reserve your place.
