National Quilting Day - Saturday, March 17, 2012 
Quilters Playbook Workshop with Linda Halpin ( 9-3:30 p.m.)
One of the hardest parts of making a quilt can be chosing the fabrics.  This hands-on workshop will leave you eager to start your next project.  Students will learn to identify the types of fabrics in their collection, see what areas they are lacking in, and learn combination hints that will make fabric selection easy. 
Follow that with design games.  Traditional patterns take on a whole new look when you play games with patterns. Tricks for putting colors together and design techniques geared to the non-artist will open doors to creativity.
